SUBLIME: Of the most Exalted, Noble, or Impressive kind; Extreme, Lofty, like that of a person who does not fear the consequences. (IDEAL)
SUBDUED: Quieted, Inhibited, Repressed, Controlled,
Lowered in intensity or strength, Reduced in fullness of tone, and finally Muted. (REALITY)
Is our FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST SUBLIME or SUBDUED and why? Do our mindsets play a major role in what we allow to influence our minds, and help determine our encouragement of faith or depression/doubt?
- Christ/Culture
- Love/Fear
- Fear of God/Fear of Man
- Obedience to God/Sin
- Reverence of Faith/Intimidation or Doubt
- Truth/Deception (Lies)
- (Truth about God’s character and His creation, our nature/False ideas about God’s character and His creation, our nature)
- Holy Spirit controlled/Self (flesh) controlled
- Informed of the New Covenant Promise/Ignorance of the New Covenant Promise
- Weapons of our warfare from God/Weapons of our warfare from man
- Intimate relationship with God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit/Intimate relationship with the
World, the Flesh, and the devil. (1 John 2:15-17)
